Mercy Uganda's wonderful team members work closely with the ministry in identifying and addressing the needs of women and children in Uganda.  Their work within Uganda is a blessing as we minister to the specific needs of those we serve.

HENRY MELLO...OUR UGANDAN DIRECTOR

Henry is Mercy Uganda's Director, and oversees the ministry work and team in Uganda.  Henry's love for the Lord, and his love for others is evident in his commitment to the ministry.  He is a loving and compassionate person whose smile is contagious. His zeal and passion for doing the Lord's work, his knowledge and experience in many areas, and his ability to speak 5 Ugandan languages as well as English allow the ministry to expand into remote areas as we show and share the love of God.  Henry recently visited the U.S. for his first time and has learned and experienced many things that he plans to use to help the ministry as we seek to help those most vulnerable in his country.

BECKY CARREIRA...our new Child Sponsorship Coordinator

Mercy Uganda is honored and excited to have Becky join the team. Becky has taken the sponsorship program and in only a matter of weeks, has created a wonderful new system that is benefitting the children, the schools, the sponsors, and the Mercy Uganda team as a whole!  Thank you Becky!  Becky is also a member of the Ezekiel 37 Medical team that has partnered with Mercy Uganda in providing medical care and clinics for villages in Uganda.  We are thankful to have Becky's expertise in the work of the ministry.

 LOBU, GABRIEL ...FIELD MANAGER-KARAMOJA

Lobu, Gabriel is Mercy Uganda's  Field Manager for Karamoja.  Gabriel's love for the people of Karamoja is what led Mercy Uganda to that region.  We saw the extreme poverty of the people there, and got a glimpse of Gabriel's heart.  He is committed to praying for, and helping this precious group of people. We, at Mercy Uganda, are committed to helping him do that.  His role as Field Manager-Karamoja is a blessing to this ministry work.  Gabriel, through his many trips to Karamoja, has identified needs, including those of the women and children.  As a result, we now have identified orphans in need of sponsors for their education, and Gabriel is working closely with the children and the schools to ensure the children receive the care, and education they so desperately need. Gabriel is a precious young man of God with a heart for others.  We are so blessed to have him join our Mercy Uganda family.
